LockVisible methodology
How LockVisible checks your website
Every result comes from a named check that passed, failed or did not apply. This page lists all 27 checks, how the next five fixes are chosen, where AI is used, and what LockVisible cannot tell you.
What a scan reads
- Your homepage and up to 10 more public pages, chosen from your sitemap and the links on your homepage.
- Your
robots.txtfile. Pages it blocks are not read. - Nothing behind a login, and no Google Analytics, Search Console, bank or mailbox data.
LockVisible identifies itself as LockVisible when it fetches your pages. If a page shows almost no text until JavaScript runs, the scan says so instead of reporting problems it cannot see.
How results are shown
Each area shows how many of its checks passed, for example "8 of 10 checks passed." A check that does not apply to your site, such as author names on a site with no articles, is marked "not applicable" and left out of the count. There is no hidden score: you can open every check and see what it found and on which page.

Where AI is used
Most checks are plain rules applied to your pages. Four checks need judgment: A1 company definition, A2 category, A3 audience and A4 direct answers. For those, an AI model reads your page text and must quote the sentence it relied on. A check only passes when a quote supports it. The same page text always gets the same result, so an unchanged page cannot flip between scans.
AI also writes the plain-English explanation and the builder instruction for each fix. Instructions tell your builder to use only facts your site already states, never invented customers, numbers or claims.
How the next five fixes are chosen
- Only failed checks become fixes.
- High-impact checks come first, then medium, then low.
- Within the same impact, fixes that affect more of the pages we read come first.
- Remaining ties follow the check order on this page.
- The first five are shown. The rest wait until those are resolved.
Verify and watch
A rescan runs the same checks on the same kinds of pages and marks each fix resolved when its check now passes. Weekly watching repeats the scan and emails you if a check that had passed fails again.
What LockVisible cannot tell you
- Your search rankings, traffic or how many customers you will get.
- What AI assistants currently say about your business.
- Backlinks, keyword volumes or what competitors are doing.
- Pages beyond the 11 it reads, pages behind a login, or content that only appears after JavaScript runs.
- Whether the claims, reviews or prices on your site are accurate.
Passing every check does not guarantee results. It means the basics that make a site easier to find, understand and trust are in place.
